It took a long, long time for me to find my own voice. For years my head was muddled with all of the “shoulds” I believed I needed to follow.
I mis-spent my highly sensitive abilities (and so much energy) making myself into a chameleon to match whoever I was with in hopes that
1) they would like me
2) I wouldn’t be found out for being different.
And lo and behold – surprise! surprise! – I brought all of it with me into my business (of course).
All of my first years of marketing were me trying to figure out what people wanted to hear because my silly mis-firing highly sensitive brain believed if I could play my old game of trying to get people to like me that would mean they would also buy from me.
Well, that didn’t work (of course).
So, I had to dig deep. I had to do the “real work” to discover who I am, how I’m here to serve and the most honest, direct way to communicate that in my marketing.
And so do you.
There are no short-cuts to HSE Financial Success, but would you really want one anyway?
Wouldn’t you rather truly claim your own voice, share your own message, be of service in your own unique way?
Yes, this means you’ll need to be vulnerable and let people see you, but when you do you’ll discover you’re stronger than you think; you can weather any entrepreneurial storm.
It’s safe to be you (of course).
