Hope and Manifestation
I remember reading somewhere once that faith is โconfidence or trust in something or someone that is not based on evidence, but firmly grounded in an inner knowing that whatโs needed already exists in the spiritual realm.โ
I really appreciated this definition because whenever I’m teaching any form of manifestation, I always emphasize the reminder that manifestation happens in phases. And the physical is the final phase of manifestation. We don’t go from zero to 100 of say wanting or envisioning something to then it suddenly being in front of us like Samantha twinkling her nose in the 1960โs sitcom of Bewitched.
Instead, we go through multiple phases starting with the inspired idea and then into aligning our faith with our feelings, to then aligning our faith with our actions and then, only then, do we get to the ultimate final experience of the physical aspect of manifestation of that “want”, that vision.
And what drives the force of faith behind each phase of manifestation is hope; hope that whatโs needed truly already does exist in the spiritual realm.
Where faith is fueled by confidence and trust, hope is fueled by an optimistic attitude of expectation.
Or as said even better in the book, Build The Life You Want: The Art and Science of Getting Happier by Arthur Brooks and Oprah Winfrey, โoptimism is the belief that things will turn out all right; hope makes no such assumption but is a conviction that one can act to make things better in somewayโ.
Hope secured by the power of faith expedites the creative process and provides the energy to call forth, to be in action to create what is desired.
Faith and hope.
Hope as an HSP in Business and Leadership
What does any of this have to do with being an HSP in business and leadership?
Hope is a gateway to so many aspects of our highly sensitive strengths.
When we are untrained as highly sensitives, we are operating from shadow behavior and coping mechanisms which are typically driven primarily by the fear that we won’t be able to handle the overstimulation that our nervous system tends to default to.
Yet when we are trained as empowered HSPs in business and life we have consistent access to our strengths such as intuition, creativity and our ability to be spiritual by nature.
Therefore hope is the gateway to the use of our strengths.
Hope accelerates our ability to access our strengths and it provides the energy to call forth what we desire through a conviction to be in action.
So, yes, this time of year can feel crazy. And, yes, this year of all years can have us questioning our purpose, our abilities.
YET it is also the power of this time of year more than ever to look back, to reflect on what was created over the last 12 months and what still remains to be created. And to use this reflection to tap into our HSP visionary strength to begin that process of manifestation for what is still to come, to be born in the new year whether that be next levels of business growth, creative marketing endeavors or unique ways we each are meant to be making a positive impact for others.
It is THIS time of year of all times to remember our calling as HSPs in business, to remember our calling as HSP leaders – to use our strengths to be the the royal advisors the world needs.
This end of year time does not need to be hard; instead it can be fused with hope, a reminder that we each have the power to act to make things better in some way.

Take a moment for self inquiry or journaling on theย followingย questions:
- Is there an inspired idea that you haven’t yet taken action on?
- Is there a next level of business growth, a creative marketing endeavor or other unique way you are meant to be making a positive impact for others?
- Imagine you’re experiencing the results of that idea coming to fruition. Allow yourself a few minutes to feel this optimist attitude of expectation.
