I’m always paying deep attention to what’s happening with the HSP business leader members of the Business Miracles community. It’s what drives all of the real-time, live teaching I deliver every Wednesday as part of our community-side Weekly Training Roundtables and the annual refresh of the 8 leadership track curriculums we provide that teach everything from marketing to team leadership to mindset management.
This is how, about 10 years ago now, I landed on the concept of the “Good Enough Business”. I had witnessed time and again HSP Business Miracles community members beat themselves up for not having a “successful 6 or 7-figure business”. Yet, through coaching and mentoring these members I could tell they didn’t REALLY want that type of business. They just believed they SHOULD want that type of business to prove how worthy they were.
It reminded me of my education training and specifically Jean Piaget’s stages of development and The Good Enough Mother which, in short, is about allowing a child to discover what they really want on their own. I then read an article in the NY Times titled, “The Good Enough Life” and – voila! – the birth of the Good Enough Business! This process has created radical results for so many HSPs in business and leadership, bringing them both the peace and the level of true prosperity they’ve forever longed for.
